Yeah, I don't really get it, either. But the title was clever; inspired by our history teacher.

Economy.

Here's something that really grinds my gears.

The economy isn't about really helping anyone.

If the minimun wage were to be raised to $10, then everyone would have some extra bucks in their pockets for a well-earned work day. However, since that is the MINIMUM wage, companies will start charging double for their stupid products; milk would be about $7, and then the raise would be useless because these people would not be able to afford the things that they can't afford already.  Politicians have the power to prevent such things from happening, and they just will not.  It's like the government wants us to host our first annual Hunger Games over something so 

minuscule as a can of tuna, or gallon of milk, when the whole idea of raising the minimum wage is to give extra bucks to those who deserve it, not starve them more than they are already being.  I guess people just won't see their struggles because they earn too much.  Well, put politicians on minimum wage and see how fast things will change.

Now if you would be so kind, I'm going to enjoy my day sleeping in and tweeting this picture to everyone who is optimistic about the holiday that I know of, meanwhile eating popcorn and watching movies all day, cuddling with my Big Bang Theory throw blanket and simultaneously making my guitar weep.

Blogger Templates And All That Jazz...

The hardest, and by far the most frustrating thing I've done all day,
and by "all day," I mean for the amount of time I've been awake, was edit my blog template.
I wanted to go with a Legend of Zelda-styled theme because I am indeed a huge Nintendo LOZ fan, and a nature-lover, and the picture I've chosen had a mix of both.
I went to apply to the background, and it was too big, so I went for another picture that was LOZ-inspired, as well as Pink Floyd-inspired because I am also a fan of music and have my own band, and the added bonus of said picture was the Dark Side Of The Moon theme, because it could be compared to the moon in Majora's Mask...

I apologize for getting off-topic there,

unfortunately, that picture was, also, labeled as too big, so I simply decided to click on the "I do not know" meme to see if it would work, because I had run out of ideas at that point; the picture was just the right size, and I suddenly knew how Goldie Locks felt in the house of the three bears...

McDonald's Olympic Commercial is Awful...

Did McDonald's really just try to compare biting into a chicken mcnugget to biting on an Olympic medal? 

I don't know if they know this, but... 

Olympians only became Olympians by avoiding biting into chicken mcnuggets;

that, or maybe just avoiding McDonald's all-together...

Just a thought...

              I was wondering today... 

        I seem to always feel like giving up on life, and it's never for one specific thing, then I think: "Why am I even trying at all?" Then I think of Ken Ham during his debate with Bill Nye and I ask myself: "why we do any of these things at all if no one is going to remember, and we're all going to die, and if there's a heaven at all then we'd all happy and healthy there, so what was the point of any discovery anyone else has made, or sorrow or pain I've endured and still will endure, or anyone else for that matter?"

Military Copters.

For the past couple of days, there have been military helicopters flying above my town

, and they're extremely loud.

They look like they're preparing for war or something, they fly in a v-formation and it's frightening.  The copters themselves aren't frightening, it's the many reasons as to why they would be flying about.  I spoke to my friend about it on Friday, and she told me there were suspected terrorists staying in a nearby hotel, so now there's a fleet of copters on standby.  My worry is that they plan to blow up anything in their sight of the suspects are proven guilty, since the hotel is pretty much filled with suspects.  I hope this doesn't start a war, the country's already messed up as is.  America, do your citizens a  favor and don't blow stuff up.

Perfume.

It scares me that my grandmother lives upstairs, and my mother has left the house, but I still smell a strong scent of perfume.  Cheap perfume, at that, which my mother does not own and a scent I've never smelled my grandmother wear.  Whether she owns the scent or not, she lives upstairs and I do not believe scents penetrate walls that easily.
